ConServe is a youth-led 501(c)(3) nonprofit advancing climate action and environmental justice in K-12 schools across the Bay Area and beyond.
ConServe is a youth-led nonprofit based in the Bay Area that aims to tackle climate change and air pollution in our communities through technological and community advocacy. Founded in 2025, our mission is to advance sustainability in K-12 schools with innovative programs to uplift vulnerable communities. Our work centers around one core belief: students deserve safe, healthy, and sustainable learning environments. Led by students from across the world, our team collaborates with schools, researchers, and legislators to advance environmental justice and expand access to sustainability resources in underserved communities.
According to consensus across the scientific community, by 2030, global warming will become irreversible. In America, school districts spend over $8 billion on energy and emit over 720 million metric tons of carbon annually. As climate change intensifies, the students of today are increasingly forced to bear the consequences through wildfires, extreme heat, and worsening air pollution that threaten their health and education. Yet many districts, especially those in underserved communities, lack the resources needed to respond effectively. We believe that the very students who will inherit the long-term consequences of climate change should also be empowered to lead the solutions.
